Introduction Indie Games Creators (the "Platform") acts as a bridge between indie game developers ("Devs") and content creators ("Creators"). These terms govern your use of the site, including the creator directory, bounty system, and subscription services.
User Accounts & Eligibility Creators: Must provide accurate social media links, genre specializations, and contact information. You represent that you own or have the right to use the channels submitted.
Developers: Must provide valid information for game listings and bounty placements.
Players: May browse and vote for games, but must not manipulate voting systems through bots or multiple accounts.
- Subscription Tiers (Free & Pro) We offer tiered access for scouting and analytics:
Free Tier: Includes basic directory browsing, 7-day stat views, and a limit of 10 tracked creators.
Pro Tier ($6.99/mo): Includes infinite tracking, 30-day analytics, historical growth data, and priority feature access.
Payments: All Pro subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through billing settings.
- Financial Terms & Intermediary Status The Bounty section is a marketplace for sponsored content:
Bounty Posting: Devs define requirements (e.g., "X videos on Y platform").
Submission: Creators apply by submitting content links. Indie Games Creators or the Dev (depending on the specific bounty) reserves the right to approve or reject content based on quality or adherence to the brief.
Payments & Commissions: Upon approval, the Creator is paid the agreed amount. Indie Games Creators retains a percentage-based commission from the total bounty amount for platform maintenance and escrow services.
4.1 Role as Intermediary Indie Games Creators acts strictly as a third-party intermediary (the "Platform") connecting Developers and Creators. While we facilitate the discovery, communication, and payment processing for Bounties, the Platform is not a party to the specific service agreement between the Developer and the Creator.
4.2 Payment Processing via Stripe All financial transactions, including Pro subscriptions and Bounty payouts, are processed through Stripe.
By using our payment features, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement.
The Platform does not store full credit card details or sensitive banking credentials on its own servers.
4.3 Bounty Escrow & Commissions To ensure security for both parties, the Platform employs an escrow-style flow:
Deposit: When a Developer posts a Bounty, the funds are collected and held by the Platform (via Stripe).
Commission: Indie Games Creators deducts a non-refundable service fee (commission) from the total Bounty amount to cover platform operations, payment processing fees, and dispute mediation.
Payout: Funds are released to the Creator only after the submitted content is Approved.
Taxes: Creators are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on earnings received through the Platform.
5.Community Conduct To keep the platform a "hidden gem" for everyone, you agree not to:
Post misleading engagement metrics or "fake" follower counts.
Harass creators or developers via the contact information provided.
Submit low-effort or unrelated content to bounties simply to secure a spot.
Intellectual Property Your Content: Creators and Devs retain ownership of their respective media and games. By posting, you grant the Platform a license to display your assets (logos, screenshots, videos) for the purpose of promotion on the site.
Our Platform: The Indie Games Creators logo, diamond icon, and data analytics tools are the property of the Platform.
Limitation of Liability Indie Games Creators provides the data and connection tools "as is." We are not responsible for the performance of a specific video, the success of a game launch, or disputes between a Dev and a Creator beyond the scope of the Bounty escrow.
Acceptance By using Indie Games Creators, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
